Here are various players, characters, etc. in my Harvey Instax world. Certain biographical informations are also provided. -A

Harvey Weinstein defense attorneys Arthur Aidala and Donna Rotunna. Aidala is a prominent New York defense attorney and a known quantity among those of us who cover courts. He's currently representing Harvard law prof emeritus Allen Dershowitz in Jeffrey Epstein-related civil litigation.

Donna Rotunna joined the Weinstein defense team rather late in the game. She was unknown outside Chicago, where she'd developed enough of a reputation as a sex assault criminal defender to be profiled in Chicago Magazine. (https://www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magazine/February-2018/The-Defender/) She was subsequently profiled elsewhere, having become sort of the media face of the defense. Former Manhattan DA Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. (c.) and his consigliere Danny Frost, who was then and may still be in charge of the communications office. Weinstein's conviction was something of a vindication of Vance's tenure re: sex crimes prosecution, as some saw it. (Cf. the abortive prosecution of Dominique Strauss-Khan, something else involving Jeffrey Epstein's sex offender registration, earlier rape accusations against Weinstein by Paz de la Huerta, etc)

Harvey Weinstein produced independent films. During his 30+year career, there were no reports of his being unable to walk without assistance.

Gloria Allred is a plaintiffs attorney specializes in the representation of sexual assault survivors/accusers--probably the most famous one.. She had no formal role in the Weinstein trial, but availed herself to media on behalf of her clients, some of whom were in some stage of suing Weinstein and his company. He has a daughter named Lisa Bloom who does the same thing, including with Epstein accusers.

Abra Guitierrez is a model who had accused Weinstein of rape. I don't remember whether the alleged conduct was statute-barred or what, but she had no formal involvement with the trial. She came on the day of sentencing and possibly once or twice prior. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjn7f-3tar1AhUwUt8KHQYHD9IQFnoECAQQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FAmbra_Gutierrez&usg=AOvVaw15dPKHifLoliSk8RYMCrtA

Annabella Sciorra was the one bone fide famous actress who testified against Weinstein. Significantly, the incidents she alleged were statute-barred--happened too long ago to be prosecuted. She was called as a Molineux witness, someone who testifies as to a defendant's prior bad acts, which are alleged to show a pattern of behavior that has bearing on the charges the defendant is actually accused of committing in the trial. A few weeks ago, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals appeared to take a very dim view of the use of Sciorra's testimony in the trial. Their decision is probably a few months off, but if they do vacate the conviction it will likely have a lot to do with the prosecutors' decision to have Sciorra testify.

ADA Joan Illuzzi Orbon is one of the top prosecutors in the DA's office. (There are maybe three or four of them.) Prior to Weinstein, her claim to fame was convicting Pedro Hernandez in 2017 of the murder of Etan Patz, the SoHo boy who went missing in 1979, and whose body has never been fined. There were some similarities between the Hernandez case and Weinstein's, come to think of it: both involved alleged crimes that were old and absolutely zero physical evidence.

Gloria Allred

Judah Engelmayer is the crisis PR man who began representing Weinstein after Weinstein's previous agency dropped him. He served as Weinstein's and the defense's spokesman and flack.

This is Jane Rosenberg taking a picture of her sketch of Harvey, Aidala, and a witness whose name I'd have to look up. There's a picture of Jane in the Maxwell project.

Harvey and Joan double-exposure

The woman in orange is Tarale Wulff, a model who testified that Weinstein masturbated in front of her at Cipriani.

An old guy who came to the trial a bunch and a court officer who freaked out on me two years after I posed a picture of him jokingly flipping me off.

A court officer who freaked out on me two years after I posed a picture of him jokingly flipping me off. His name rhymes with menace.

Arthur and Donna

Harvey and defense attorney Damon Cheronis. Cheronis was another unknown guy from Chicago. This star shone dimly for me.
